An eclectic mix of antiques, recycled and repurposed furnishings are sprinkled throughout the settler style, one room (great room) combination living and bedroom accommodating comfortably up to 4+ people.

Queen size Log Bunk Beds with high quality mattresses for a restful nights sleep. We use eco-friendly linens: eucalyptus, bamboo and cotton blend sheets, quilts, blankets and

towels all of which are laundered with dye free detergent. When mother nature permits, we love to line dry all our sheets, blankets and quilts for that country fresh feeling.

The cabins quaint galley style kitchen is completely stocked with all your cooking and grilling needs. Coffee pot, microwave, repurposed gas stove, mid-size refrigerator, pots and pans, dishes, cutlery, blender, toaster and mixer are there along with Coffee, Tea, Creamer/Sugar, Cooking Spices and Oils, Paper Towels, Aluminum Foil and more are supplied when you arrive.

The bathroom features a shower with the walls created from repurposed antique slate chalkboard and a handmade wormy chestnut vanity using a vintage metal tabletop and repurposed sink.

Thermostat controlled recycled gas log fireplace featuring a surround handmade with 1830's barnwood and beams.

Wall Air Conditioning and Ceiling Fan

42" Flat Screen Hi-Definition TV with Cable and Movie Channels

Stereo with iPod and iPhone connectivity (bring your cord if you use a Droid)

High-speed wireless Internet access with secure router

Plenty of storage and shelves for clothes and whatnots you discover during your vacation.

Handmade crossbuck table made from vintage barnwood for country style dining.

Rustic decor, bear rug wall hanging, handmade chandelier from antique sulky wheel, old gun stock table lamp and so much more!

Outdoor Amenities

Next to the cabin is a limestone patio with picnic table, gas grill, bench and chairs, tablecloth and grilling tools are provided.

We have tiki torches scattered here and there for outdoor lighting enjoyment

Reclaimed barn beams make this Old World style Pergola comfortable, featuring a fire pit, cooking grates and seating for relaxing, great conversation and s'mores!  Plenty of free firewood is provided. In the summer months you can enjoy shooting stars to make a wish upon.

In season we grow a small settlers garden next to the cabin so our guests can enjoy homegrown produce during their stay as well as fresh herbs.

Private drive with plenty of parking. Have a boat /watercraft and trailer? We have ample space available for that too!

Relaxing six person outside hot tub open 24 hours for your enjoyment.  Age limit does apply. 

Backyard games are available: Croquet, Ladder Ball, Yard Jarts, Volleyball and more! It's a known fact that we have even joined in on the fun! 

Accommodations are available for bicyclists with secure covered bike storage. We are located only minutes south of the Adventure Cyclists Northern Tier ouring east/west route and featured on the maps for lodging. Northern Tier, Section 9 (BC-1102 2010) Adventure Cycling website showing maps to this area. We also have the Rails to Trails North Coast Inland Trail - Sandusky/Ottawa County (Bellevue to Elmore) and Huron County (Bellevue to Norwalk) close by for your riding pleasure.
